With the continuous growth of industrial automation and energy demand, the valve industry is facing an urgent need for high-performance and reliable products. Since valves produced in another region are expensive and have more air leakage, the Japanese valve factory found KAIYE.
In the early stage, KAIYE communicated with the customer for nearly a year before the Japanese customer decided to produce proofing at KAIYE to see the finished product effect. At the beginning of the project, the two parties had in-depth communication and clarified the specific needs of the customer. The customer provided detailed drawings to clarify the size, material and performance requirements of the valve piston. The customer hopes that the product will not only have excellent performance but also meet strict appearance standards.
Based on the customer's drawings, KAIYE conducted preliminary proofing and generated the first sample, providing a dimensional report and appearance inspection results. However, after the customer's review, the appearance of the sample did not meet the ideal standard, and some dimensions were also NG, so the two parties held a meeting to review. After in-depth analysis of the sample problems, it was decided to modify the mold and optimize the mold design for appearance defects. A new process method was adopted to improve the appearance quality. Finally, after many mold modifications and adjustments, the size and appearance met the requirements. So we started the piston leakage test. During the test, we found that the sample had leakage. In order to ensure the sealing of the product, the die casting factory decided to carry out impregnation treatment. For the samples with severe leakage, two impregnation treatments were carried out; and for the samples with mild leakage, the first impregnation treatment was carried out.
After a series of improvements and treatments, in the end, all samples met the customer's requirements, and the appearance and performance reached the expected standards. The customer was very satisfied with this and highly praised KAIYE's professionalism and response speed.
