A die casting machine is a machine used for pressure casting. Including hot pressure chamber and cold pressure chamber. Later, they are divided into two types: vertical and horizontal. The die-casting machine hydraulically injects the molten metal into the mold under pressure to cool it and form it. After the mold is opened, a solid metal casting can be obtained, which was originally used for die-casting lead type. Hot pressure chamber type
According to the structure and arrangement of the pressure chamber, it is divided into two types: horizontal and vertical. The hot pressure chamber type attaches the crucible for melting metal to the machine, and the piston mechanism for hydraulically pressing the metal into the mold is installed in the crucible. Some hot pressure chamber die-casting machines use compressed air to directly hydraulically press the metal into the mold without the need for a piston mechanism. Hot press chamber die-casting machines are mainly used to die-cast zinc, tin and other alloys with lower melting points.
Cold pressure chamber type
The metal is melted outside the machine, and then the molten metal is added into the compression chamber with a spoon. According to the direction of the compression piston movement, it can be divided into vertical cold pressure chamber die casting machine and horizontal cold pressure chamber die casting machine. Among them, the vertical cold-pressure chamber die-casting machine takes out the molten metal from the furnace and pours it into the compression chamber. The compression piston hydraulically pushes the metal into the mold, and the excess metal is pushed out by another piston. The horizontal cold press chamber die casting machine is the same as the vertical type, except that the movement direction of the piston is horizontal. Most modern die-casting machines are horizontal. The cold press chamber die casting machine can die cast metals with higher melting points, such as copper alloys.
